I wasn't really sure how to 'announce' it; but 'welcoming' you all here seemed fitting. I am welcoming you to my home; the place where I will continue to post about my life full of love, food & fitness. But it's going to be a little different. I'm going to post more about my personal journey and my life... how I'm feeling, what i'm going through, the up's and the down's, the good and the bad, the frustrations and the successes. I'm hopeful it'll be more focused on the 'up's', the good and the successes.
The reason why I started Healthy Living Maintenance in the first place was to just post anything I wanted, anything regarding maintaining my weight loss and how I could live the healthiest life possible. Through the last 2 years of blogging, I've come to realize that when I started my Tumblr Page; I wasn't holding true to the message I was trying to promote on my blog - maybe through the look of the recipes & posts... it may have seemed like it. But I was actually still going through an emotional journey to still find who I was, what I wanted to be and how I was going to live my life.
Yet - the last 2 years of blogging truly changed my life because I have found myself.
I found that being healthy (to me) doesn't mean weighing 120 pounds, I found that healthy (to me) doesn't mean working out 7 days a week, I found that healthy (to me) doesn't mean depriving yourself of the joys in life (....like peanut butter).
Maintaining my health means enjoying life. It means fueling my body with delicious food whenever I want it - to prepare myself for future motherhood. It means doing yoga, walking & weights to keep my body moving and feeling fit. It means spending time with the people I care about.
So this is it - this new page is the start of a new 'me'... the new Anna.
This is the healthy life I have been waiting for.
