Almost two years ago when I first began my journey with Hypothalamic Amenorrhea (even before I knew it), I wasn't sure what to do. I didn't know where to turn. I didn't know where to start. I then found a blog post from Stephanie about 'Hypothalamic Amenorrhea' and I felt like I was reading a story similar to my own; loss of cycles, excessive working out, infertility struggles, etc. I knew I had to reach out to her and that - hands down - was one of the best things I could have ever done. After connecting with Stephanie, she virtually introduced me to Nicola, and then Lisa. For almost a year, these women gave me the push, the encouragement, the 'tough love' and the statistics I needed to hear to recover from HA and miraculously become pregnant.
When I received my copy of 'No Period. Now What?' in the mail this Spring, I couldn't put it down. The book is filled with such amazing information - and though I had been through the ringer and knew a lot of these statistics and recovery options already - it made me SO excited to know that this information could readily available to anyone that is, or was, battling HA. This book truly has invaluable insights from women that battled it themselves, did extensive research behind the how/why of it all, and put together an amazing recovery plan to help those battling it still.
Ps. If you end up ordering the book, let me know when you find my quote on the inside.... :)
