Now, we can do that whenever we want. Our plans for Friday night changed a bit, so we decided to make the hour drive to go watch my 15 year old brother in law wrestle. I was so excited to see that a bunch of other family members decided to come, too - that kid has his own cheering section. Another bonus.... my nephew was there. Seriously, I cannot even explain the love I have for that child. I feel so lucky to have him in our life and am so thankful we get to see him so often (I mean, i'd love to see him daily, but i'll take what I can get) :)
Anyways - back to this weekend. If Friday night wasn't enough family time, on Saturday we ended up driving an hour+ to Milwaukee, our old stomping grounds, to watch my 12 year old sister in law in her Cheer Competition. Now, I've never been to one of those things before. But if YOU have - you know what its like. I mean - I am pretty peppy and energetic, but WOAH... these people take it to the next level. The energy was great! When I went to grab a coffee at the concession stand..... well, my husband decided on a beer. He was a trooper.
After we got back home last night, we lounged and I passed out around 10pm. I woke up around 7:30...because I can never sleep in anymore... so i'm just sitting here relaxing, enjoying my coffee and having a little breakfast of (one of my favorites) eggs with avocado toast. So good.
Plus - we woke up to like 5 feet of snow (ok - not that much, but its at least 5 inches) so I'm not going to venture out to the new Aldi that just opened up nearby. But i'm totally OK with staying home all day!
